In an effort to bring close, personal service back to funeral service, Don Clary set out to open a new funeral home in Peoria. It was the first new funeral home to come to Peoria in 19 years.
Clary Funeral Home opened, in our original location, on June 19th of 2005. Once settled, we began offering novel services that the existing funeral homes did not have.
On September 1st of 2009, the funeral home was relocated to 428 West McClure Avenue in Peoria.
On October 26th of 2009, after extensive renovation of the second floor, the Clary family
moved-in to the new upstairs residence ~ making Clary's the only funeral "home" in Peoria, with a funeral director living on-site.
There are many funeral service providers in the Peoria area, but they are not able to give a variety
of choices when it comes to price and flexibility. Your traditional funeral home is still trying to
tell you what you need, rather than listening to what you want.
Today, amidst the large, national funeral home conglomerates, Clary's stands apart as a locally
owned and operated funeral home. Our funeral home was founded with a sincere desire to help
those in need, with the highest level of warm and caring personal service, a wide selection of
quality products and funeral options to fit every budget.
Our business model, along with local ownership, allows for a much lower overhead than your traditional funeral home, which permits us to price our services below what others are offering.
Being locally owned and operated, Don Clary cares for families personally, so that any concern
is immediately handled. That is accountability.
