With our continued commitment to family owned businesses, we offer caskets from Aurora Casket Company. Aurora was established in 1890 and is the largest privately owned casket manufacturer in the country. It calls a small Indiana town, Aurora, its home.

Founder John Backman began the business with 30 employees making wooden caskets by hand. In the 1920s, Backman's son, William, and his son-in-law, William Barrott, joined the company, making it a two-family endeavor.

Today, William D. Backman III is president and CEO, Chris Barrott is executive vice president, and Jason Barrott, a fifth-generation family member, is director of marketing development.

They are a locally owned, family business and since their inception, they have provided high quality, competitively priced products and fast service. All of their products are from independently owned and operated companies.
